Guess what! We’ve got a new name and a brand new website! And I LOVE our new look! For a long time, I wanted something that was more ‘me’. And this is totally it! The new website and blog will be live on July 1st, but go ‘head and click the new logo to take a sneak peek of the new site.

I just can’t contain my excitement any longer…I’m, I’m, I’m excited to announce that Kimberly Bliss Photography was voted 2009 Best Family Photographer in the Bay Area by the readers of Bay Area Parent Magazine!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!! Wow, I can’t believe it! What an incredible, amazing award! I’m so completely honored to have won. I don’t have a speech prepared tonight but I would just thank all of you so much for voting for me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

The winners in all categories will officially be announced in the Best of the Best 2009 magazine available on July 27th. Check it out! =)

By the way, I’ve got another BIG BIG BIG announcement coming this week plus more recent sessions I have yet to blog about so come back and read all about it!

Brady’s Wall Letters were delivered today and they’re stunning! They’re a gorgeous contemporary alternative to the traditional wooden letters.

I’m the luckiest girl in the world for getting the opportunity to photograph beautiful kids everyday!

Exhibit #1: 3 year old Brady. He was quick on his feet, definitely making me work for every picture. What a handsome ham.

Exhibit #2: Baby brother, 1 year old Jake. He just started walking! His blonde hair and blue eyes are killin’ me.

I blinked and May passed me by. Whoa!! Meet Kennet and Xochitl. Their faces grace us on the June issue of Bay Area Parent Magazine that we shot at their home in San Francisco. Isn’t this cover just the cutest?

These didn’t make it in the issue, but I really love these photos of Kennet and Xochitl…

In the right picture, she’s laughing because she pulled his hat off and thought it was hilarious. 

I love Kennet’s face in the right picture. Something about his expression show’s daddy love for his little girl.

These are too funny. I can’t help but laugh when I look at her upside down.

Perhaps the sweetest picture of all. Check out Xochitl tippy-toeing to give daddy a kiss. Awwww!

Oh blog, it’s so nice to see you again. Don’t you ever go crazy on me again now, ya hear?!

I had a really great time shooting Blanca and Marlo’s wedding at the beautiful Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon. My old dear friend (whoops I mean my dear old friend!) Darryl is a fellow photog and also a groomsman in the wedding. He invited me to come and capture the wedding day so he wouldn’t have to do double-duty. I’m really glad he did because I had so much fun! Here’s just a few of the pics:
